Biography	Originally from the UK, studied children's illustration at Bournville School of Art & Manchester Polytechnic 1977-1981. Freelance illustrator in London from 1983. Moved to Tokyo in 1987 pursuing an interest in Japanese art and culture. In Japan name has become most well known for advertising, including several award winning campaigns, animated TV commercials, character licensing, etc. First love however is still children's books, which are regularly released both for the Japanese and international markets. Bilingual in Japanese.
