Biography

I wrote my first story when I was six. My first novel, The Dreamcloth was published when I was 37. I am author of Secret Mothers Business (Allen & Unwin, 2006) and Things Without A Name (Allen & Unwin, 2008). I move between and love fiction and non-fiction equally as if they were two of my (very different) children.

I am not afraid of any project that requires a writer's touch. With a good brief, a writer should be able to write anything.
