Biography It is my mission to learn from my mistakes and share insights gained in this life to help and enlighten others. My company was formed eight months ago, but I have just begun utilizing my business to work on my passion, writing to challenge social norms. I have been writing since childhood and have learned much in this life to write about having: raised five children, worked in a sexual assault and a domestic violence program, worked for an agency serving people with developmental disabilities and lived in rural communities. I am divorced and remarried, and have blended my previous family with my husband's. I garden, cook and make a little go a long ways. During my life's journey I have worked hard to overcome a childhood of abuse and its subsequent post traumatic stress disorder's impact on my life. I struggle to make peace with cruelty and meanness in this world and work to challenge violent and oppressive behaviours. I am a student of life and always eager to stretch my knowledge and experience base.

Examples of Work I’m Back

I came home today
Casting aside the driving force
that compelled my movements,

and flung my being, scattered,
into the storm of life
Under guise of righting wrongs.

Fragmented shell of existence,
life oozing from resulting breaches

Becoming whole, feeling, intact
Palms open and release remnants
still clenched in last hoorahs
Welcome, my soul, to the living.
