Biography The WriteThink Tank was created by award-winning writer Lauri Maerov to provide highly-qualified writing and editorial talent with expertise in advertising, marketing, publishing, entertainment and new media, including the Web.

Ms. Maerov has been tapped as a writer and consultant by several major Internet and entertainment companies, including the official Seinfeld website, Seinfeld.com; EarthLink’s creative services division where she was Managing Editor (1999-2000); and the entertainment website, IAM.COM where she served as Editorial Director (2000). She has been consulted as a naming specialist and senior copywriter for companies including Orly International, Watson Wyatt, Specialty Brands, Bonterra Wines, Bos Design, and Educational Insights among others. For Disney’s Buena Vista Pictures marketing, Lauri suggested the name, The Insider, chosen as the title of the Academy Award-nominated feature starring Al Pacino and Russell Crowe.

Through its network of qualified associates, The Write Think Tank can make referrals to financial experts, designers and illustrators, project managers and Web developers for more complex projects—or we can coordinate the development and execution of those projects for you. Using The WriteThink Tank allows your business to bypass expensive agency fees, work with a talent resource dedicated to excellence, and get tailor-made results—even under deadline conditions.

Awards and Nominations An award-winning writer, Lauri Maerov’s essays have appeared in the Southern Humanities Review and the Warner Books’ collection Every Woman Has a Story. She won the 1999 Chicago Literary Awards Fiction Prize for her short story, The Last Great Days of Slam Dunk, and her comic fable, Family Life, was published in PIF’s November 2001 issue.
