Work Undertaken Work to date has been primarily with contemporary dance, ballet and hula.

Biography Ms. Thompson has worked with some of contemporary dance's top choreographers, including Sean Curran, Elizabeth Streb, Ann Carlson, David Dorfman, Tere O'Connor, and David Rousseve. As resident lighting designer and production manager for Dance Alloy (contemporary) and Halau Hula Ka No`eau (Hawaiian hula)she has a great deal of experience with touring. Educated at Pittsburgh's Carnegie Mellon University, Ms Thompson has maintained a presence in Pittsburgh designing for Pittsburgh Ballet Theater, and has worked in other production capacities for Miami City Ballet, Joffrey Ballet, and Southold Dance Theater.

Awards and Nominations Twice nominated for the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust Achievement Award for lighting design (the first such artist to be nominated in such a capacity)
