• Seven new generic domain names have been
added to our domain name
portfolio:

art-jobs.co.uk; www.artist-jobs.co.uk. When anyone
enters these names in a web browser connected to the
internet they will be automatically redirected to
the AbleStable® homepage. Redirection provides
additional paths to discovering our services and establishes
AbleStable® as a leading informational
provider for the search of creative professionals
on the Internet.
• New Article:
Easy
EZine: We explore the world of EZines and discover
there's a little more to receiving and sending an
EZine than at first meets the eye.
• View our new magazine
add that will appear in Computer Arts issue 76
(November), on sale 10th October. Computer Arts is
the world's biggest-selling creative magazine, and
the November issue will see the launch of a completely
redesigned publication.
• All Member and Partner Profiles now have a
'Quick View' and 'Detailed View' heading
• New Article:
Creating
a Local Area Network: This article describes how
to install a local-area network in your house with
its' focus on simple installations (two or three computers
side-by-side).
• New Article:
Secure
Servers: This article describes the purpose and
basic principles of secure Web servers. It is intended
for people and organisations who have a sneaking suspicion
that they ought to be using one, but aren't sure why
or what to do about it.

Feedback where users of our site can contribute
to the development of our Exhibitions Area.
• Redesign and editorial improvements to the
Member Benefits
page. Please note, the 'Benefits' link will open a
new browser window (close the window after you review
the page) and is referenced here to illustrate the
changes we've made. Those wishing to register as new
Members (creative professionals) should go to Member
Registration.
• recommend
our site links now appear on strategic pages across
AbleStable®. You'll find these links situated
immediately below the top right search button. The
resulting browser window enables users to recommend
one or two friends. Optional fields include a text
area for personal messages to the person whom AbleStable®
is being recommended to, and a checkbox for users
to request a copy of the mail being sent to friends.
Additional recommendations may be made from the thankyou
page after the initial message has been sent.
• The Updates
Archive has been significantly expanded to hold
all updates previously posted on this page. Links
to two new pages are also provided on the archive
page from where updates can be viewed by month or
year.

Member
Area: Colour Scheme Altered (28 July 02)
As a result of constructive feedback from some of
our Members we have changed the colour scheme of the
Member Area at AbleStable®. The new colours
provide a clearer reading environment. We hope you
like the changes.

Major
Updates
Member
Area redesigned (29 July 2002)
The Member Area at AbleStable® has been
improved as a result of Member feedback. Changes include:
change of colour design and implementation of matching
context navigational buttons to aid readability; new
registration invitation; new 'why register' pop-up
window link explaining the advantages of joining AbleStable®;
new welcome message. Thanks to all who took time in
contributing to this update.
