• Creative News: News Centre: selected arts and media highlights brought to you in association with Guardian Unlimited, the premier Internet news service based in the UK.
• Major changes have begun in preparation for our 1st anniversary. Our top navigation bar has been altered site-wide by the removal of our 'register' button which has now been replaced with 'Services'.
• All Directory pages have undergone design improvements that make for easier viewing.
• The Projects Area enjoys improved context sensitive navigational buttons.

• The design of our services logo has been altered to compliment the imminent design improvements to our homepage.
• We've introduced a new Award Verification Area that lists all creative products that have been awarded our 5 star award. Award verification is by creative category: Books, Magazine, Software.
• The following generic domain names have been added to our Domain Name Portfolio to support our forthcoming Website Critique Service: www.site-critique.com, www.websitecritique.com, www.homepagecritic.com, www.homepagecritique.com, www.homepage-critique.com, www.homepage-critic.com, www.homepagereview.com, www.homepage-review.com, www.websitecritique.co.uk, and www.website-critique.co.uk.
• The Products Centre enjoys some design and editorial improvements, and now includes a new link to the verification Area.
• New Article: Truth or Dare? The Use of Deceptive Site Content: Web enthusiast Rosemarie Wise takes us through some of the techniques webmasters use to keep the search engines hooked and their affiliate sales high, before arriving at the inescapable conclusion that good content is the key to online success.
• Content Syndication Area launches: Using our new Content Syndication Service people can now feature the very best writing for creative people at an affordable cost on their company web site or print publications (non-commercial licensing is free!). More Below...
• Our Homepage has undergone some design improvements and now includes a featured link to Content Syndication.
• All original Articles, Reviews, and editions of The Column have been updated with Syndication Licensee pages.
• Our Sitemap has been updated with new links to our Syndication Area.
• AbleStable's® Payment Gateway now features a new Syndication Category listing, and enables people to buy various licenses for web and print publishers to reproduce high quality selected content. Note: Our Payment Gateway has now been replaced by our Online Store.
• We've produced a dedicated Content Syndication providing answers to the most common Frequently Asked Questions and this new area of our site.
• General maintenance schedule including: site-wide link check; external link check; search indexing; and server performance monitoring.
• New Column: Opening Windows: The Internet of the future will be like the urban city of today with it's commercial centres, suburbs, and ghettos, but one crucial difference will remain: the voice of the creative individual will continue to be heard.
• New Publicity Area: Our new Publicity Area provides an easy way to link to us, and a great range of AbleStable® logos, screenshots, and banners to use on your web site and print publications.
• New Publicity Artwork: We've created two new banners and a transparent logo for you to download at Publicity. You'll find special versions of our advertising banners over the coming months in Computer Arts, the world's best selling creative magazine.
• All pages in the About Us area of AbleStable®, including our feedback and archive sections, have been revised with the addition of a new context sensitive link button (see left column) to 'Publicity'.
• New Article: New Media Contacts: Steve O'Keefe brings his considerable expertise to bear in providing some great strategies for developing a list of new media contacts. If you're a small creative company and can't afford the services of a marketing expert, read on...
• New Guide: Creating HTML Text is an html text primer for those who have little or no experience using html. This guide features an online HTML Text Area Editing tool that enables the user to easily make and view the html they produce without the need for software.
• The Guide Centre has been updated to include the new Creating HTML Text Guide, and is also revised to integrate more effectively with our Informational areas: Help; FAQ Centre; Guide Centre; Quick Tours; Search; Search Map.
• The Press Centre is updated with new Artwork providing our latest web and print banners. The banners are presented in two styles (portrait and landscape), and come in a variety of sizes and formats: from small web banners, to scalable pdf files for print publications.
• Priority Problem Reporting Feedback, and General Feedback have been revised and improved.
• Our main Search page has been revised and inconsistencies in context sensitive navigation have been corrected.
• New Tool: HTML Text Editor: easily format text and ready it for the web with our HTML Text Editor, then view the HTML source code you produce. Our integrated Guide also features an introduction into the world of creating web pages with HTML (requires Internet Explorer 5.5+).
• Our Tool Area has been updated with the separation of our tool sets into two categories: General Tools, and Internet Tools.
• Our Privacy Statement and Terms and Conditions have been updated to reflect the recent change in Member services. Both documents also reference two areas of our site that are currently being developed: Content Syndication and Competitions. We welcome any comments or suggestions for improvements about these changes.
• A new generic domain name has been added to our Domain Name Portfolio:
www.creative-graduate.com. When anyone enters this name in a web browser connected to the Internet they will be automatically redirected to AbleStable's® homepage. Redirection provides additional paths to discovering our site, and establishes AbleStable® as a premium destination for creative people.
• New Article: In CSS: The True Language of Web Design: Part 1 Molly E. Holzschlag, renown web designer and Communications Director of the World Organization of Webmasters, provides a comprehensive introduction to the world of Cascading Style Sheets by providing an explanation of the separation of presentation from document structure.
• New Article: CSS: The True Language of Web Design: Part 2: Continuing her introduction to the world of Cascading Style Sheets, Molly E. Holzschlag investigates the primary concepts and methods found in CSS.
• New Review: Cascading Style Sheets: The Designer's Edge by Molly E. Holzschlag takes the reader through a journey into the world of CSS. With comprehensive coverage and clear explanations this work is a well written resource that should be on every web designers bookshelf.
• Our Payment Gateway enjoys a major update making it easier to purchase our services. More Below Note: Our Payment Gateway has now been replaced by our Online Store.
• Member services have been streamlined. AbleStable® now provides two Member services: our Free Portfolio service which now offers even more benefits and remains completely free, and our premium Showcase service. More Below
• The whole of our Member Area has been updated to reflect our Member services improvements.
• Member FAQ is updated to reflect the recent changes.
• New Freeware: Zoom+: A great screen magnification tool developed by Russ Freeman of www.gipsysoft.com that should be counted as an essential ingredient of every screen designers toolkit.
• New Freeware: Currency Converter: easily convert between over 200 currencies with this outstanding freeware offering from Alexander Belgraver.
• All freeware product detail pop-up pages have been updated and improved.
