For AbleStable Members
We place clear requirements for image files from Members of AbleStable
to maintain consistency of style and download speeds across our
site. The additional effort to format images in the way we stipulate
is well worth your time and effort and will significantly increase
the quality of your on-line presence at AbleStable.
The size of 'large format' images at AbleStable are carefully considered
to allow clients to view Member's work and make reasonable judgements
about the quality and content of it, while discouraging the routine
illegitimate downloading of images.
File Restrictions
You may send us up to 4 small image files, and up to 4 large image
files. These will appear at the base of your Member Profile page.

Regulations
Your images MUST comply with the following
rules or they will not appear in your Member Profile:
File Formats
1) Images MUST be in either .gif or .jpg image file format (this
ensures cross-platform/browser compatibility)
Small
Images (up to 4 images)
Please note: Small images are usually taken from a corresponding
larger image.
1) A single small image file MUST be 60X60 pixels in size (this
maintains consistency of site style)
2) A single small image file MUST NOT exceed 5kb (this helps ensure
your profile page opens quickly)
3) Small image files MUST contain a 2 pixel black border (see
attached
'egsample.gif'), this border MUST be in the foreground and not
masked by the image in any way (this maintains consistency of
site style)
Large
Images (up to 4 images)
Please note: Large images must be accompanied by a corresponding
small image as defined above.
1) A single large image file MUST NOT be larger than 700X400 pixels
in size (this ensures images are viewed on smaller monitors)
2) A single large image file MUST NOT exceed 100kb (this helps
ensure your image window opens quickly)
Naming Images
Please name your images in the following manner:
For small size images:
s1sml, s2sml, s3sml, s4sml... etc
For medium size images:
s1med, s2med, s3med, s4med... etc
For large size images:
s1lrg, s2lrg, s3lrg, s4lrg... etc

Cut and paste ALL the following (including the 2 lines of X's)
into your email then enter your Name, your Member Name, and the
names of the image files enclosed. We'll then update your profile
accordingly:

Portfolio Members may send up to 4 small and 4 large image files.

When you have formatted the images as specified on this page compress
them (using either the .zip or .sit compression format), attach
them to the email, and send them to imageupload@ablestable.com.
