Make Ready
The
processes involved in getting a press ready for a print
run.
Members
Creative professionals
who are registered at AbleStable® and who offer
products and/or services for sale of which they are the
originator.
Merchant
A bank account that allows
people to accept credit card payments.
Merchant
Account
A
relationship between a business (i.e. a merchant) and
a merchant bank which allows the retailer or merchant
to accept credit card payments from customers.
Metaphor
A metaphor is a figure
of speech where X is compared to Y, and where X is said
to be Y: his skin is ice, his breath is fire.
Meta
Tags
Information embedded
in web pages in the 'head' before the 'body' section which
allows search engines to index and classify your web site
better and provides additional information about the web
page and it's authorship and status.
MIDI
(Musical Instrument Digital Interface)
A connectivity standard
which enables you to hook together computers, musical
instruments, and synthesizers to make and orchestrate
digital sound.
MIME
Short for Multipurpose
Internet Mail Extensions. A standard for encoding information
other than text so that it can be attached to an email
message and sent across the Internet.
Mirror
A copy of a website held
on a different server.
Moderator
Someone who runs an online forum, or special-interest
discussion group called a 'newsgroup' or 'mailing list'.
Music
An art form of musical sequences in time.
